Pros

The coworkers were nice Working as a cashier in the store is not bad, if you are actually given shifts

Cons

For setting up a new store, they hired almost everyone from the interviews and then stopped giving shifts once the store opened. Upper management is disrespectful; the way employees were treated during store set up was shocking. Use intimidation tactics and make you feel like you are of no value to them. Expected to know everything right off the bat with almost no help or training. Then when you make a mistake or ask a question you are treated condescendingly or yelled at. Store set up was dangerous, exhausting, poorly planned and poorly organised.

Pros

Literally nothing, you feel horrible working here.

Cons

Treated with no respect. They pick their favourites and if you are not one of them you will get no hours or very little hours. If you get hired for store set up, do not expect to be still working for the company once the stall opens. They give no hours out to roughly half the people who were apart of stall set up. Stall set up is very tiring and physically and emotionally draining. No to little training. Expected to know everything. Higher management is very rude and can sexist towards women. Shocking when it comes to work health and safety. no feedback on how you are doing until they give you no hours and then tell you, you have a poor performance. Yet won`t explain what you have done wrong or how to improve. They (the higher ups) barely speak to some of the workers so you don't know if you are doing the right thing or not. So poorly managed. the list goes on and on.

Pros

Other staff are generally quite nice. Easy work.

Cons

They do not care about or value emoloyees. Pressured to meet sales goals with no incentives or rewards. No break room. Expected to sit on the ground in the dirty stock room. Everyone is hired as a casual and they will cut your shifts and block your messages and calls without warning rather than firing you. Hard work and dedication are ignored in favour of popularity. People with the most shifts are the ones that suck up to the manager rather than those that work hard and effectively. Never accept a job for a new store. They hire way more people than they need so they can open the store quickly then cut all the shifts. Management are incompetent and seem miserable with their job. WH&S was breached multiple times with people bleeding and bruised during set up and not allowed medical attention. People that went home due to exhaustion and being overworked were never rostered on again.
