Pros

Most of the coworkers are friendly Paid weekly Adorable products Rostering was flexible - they catered to uni students and people with other jobs

Cons

Experienced staff will look down on the new staff and the whole vibe feels really cliquey and like high school. The work environment is disgustingly horrible due to the management. WORST job I've ever had. Management is HORRIBLE. They will treat you like dirt. Luckily, they do favouritise the girls. So if you're somewhat an attractive girl, who doesn't mind being hit on/perved on by upper management, I'd say go for it. Otherwise, I wouldn't even wish this job on my worst enemy. For a company that prides on putting their "people" first, they really do treat their staff like trash.

Pros

-Very friendly fellow staff members -i was given long hours and shifts -Good career growth to duty manager/manager -customers are generally very nice -The most flexible rostering i have ever experienced which is perfect for any uni students

Cons

-Lots and lots of work to do involving multitasking as the store is severely understaffed to cut costs -unfortunately, favouritism does occur. If you are liked by your manager., you get more shifts. -if you do not perform well in upselling at registers, you will get less shifts -Managers hire heaps of people just to set up for the store. When a new store opens, as there are too many people being hired, 2/3 of the employees get no shifts unless you impress your manager really well in the store set up. -higher management expects too much and the best from you even when the store is understaffed -no benefits -very tiring

Pros

Opportunities to develop customer service skills in a retail environment

Cons

Senior managers do not care about their staff members, many employees have left over a short period. The interview process was very misleading and the management wasn't done well, people were terminated for being one minute late or even threatened. Lack of communication and appreciation for employees' work and achievements. Tasks can get very repetitive and boring.
