Pros

Staffs are generally friendly people.

Cons

Contract offered weekdays they want you to do weekends. HR dont respond to queries. Government aid company on each local's wage for the circuit breaker. But.. were put on no pay leave while company get the aid. Think twice before joining as your rights are gone. Old system making work from home tedious for anyone.

Pros

people working there are nice and easy to talk to Job is basic and very easy to learn hours can be flexible

Cons

Upper management is horrible and doesn't care at all about their employees. Very high expectations but with no incentives or any motivation, instead they make sure their employees will work hard by interrogating and threatening them if expectations weren't met. The store is always understaffed and every employee is expected to do way too many things, and any little mistake will be picked out and questioned. A lot is pressure is also being placed on selling bloody dried mangos and Daiso reusable bags, the workers are required to offer BOTH things to EVERY single customer, which is honestly way too pushy in my opinion, especially if the customer is just coming in to pick up a pen or something (which is quite common). The pressure from upper management was so great that I was required one time to pretend that the store ran out of plastic bags once so that customers would be forced to buy a reusable bag, I felt horrible (And I was positive we are not the only store that does this). To sum up, Daiso doesn't care about their employee or their customers, they just want money.
