Pros

The trainer was the only positive thing. See cons!

Cons

I actually liked this job while working. I was fortunate to get to work from home and I had no problem keeping up, however most people did or just didn't want to and the few of us that did had to pick up the slack regularly. There did not seem to be any consequences for low performance other than missing out on the bonus which was an additional dollar per hour. Those who were top performers never received any recognition or incentives in any way, shape or form aside from the regular bonus based on case audits. While on site, everyone is very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Now, here's the best part! The project had some security issues at the beginning of March this year. The first week in March was our last day on this job. These things happen, and at first management and HR seemed to handle it okay, not great. We did not have to fight for unemployment benefits which should be expected in a scenario like this anyway, and there were some offers to move to other projects. Although, some required bilingual and others paid much less than we had been making and they were all on site. We would have inconsistent and pointless meetings over the phone where leadership would provide inaccurate and consequential information, such as telling employees that if they switch to a lower paying project, unemployment would make up the difference. Are. you. kidding. me? Every time they would provide us with an update, there was no new information and their insistence that our positions were secure was met with extreme doubt due to their deliberate lack of transparency while claiming repeatedly that they were being completely transparent. The way they spoke to us was condescending and patronizing while providing erroneous information. For those of us not bilingual and would not drive 40 miles to work for $10 an hour, we found out abruptly that the contract was discontinued and our position was terminated. For those of us who expected this such as myself, I was prepared and found another job. This was a terrible experience. Management and HR are completely incompetent. I want to add that the International trainer for this project was absolutely amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, patient, and caring. I felt confident in my job and felt supported because of the trainer. Please reconsider your options. There are better paying, work from home jobs available with better management and benefits. Keep looking!!!

Good People, Too much work, Too little pay

Business Outlook

Pros

A good team would get recognition for your effort.

Cons

Improper resource management, too much over time, too little pay, no career growth, no clear career path, managed by old rigid rules which do not make sense now.
