Pros

Fairly typical 8-5 hours. Nice people to work with. Digs we quite adequate. If you work well under high stress and waiting for the other shoe to drop, this is your place.

Cons

Training is at the core of competitive skills. No compensation was offered for training or skill, or knowledge improvement, in either time or money. The end result is after a few years, one's skills have not substantially improved, so you may no longer be competitive when looking for the next job. ie, the jo

MNC in name only

Pros

Flexi benefits of $700 which is above the market rate however subjected to the management decision as they can remove it due to high cost. MNC name does seem attractive as compared to other logistics firms.

Cons

Honestly I wouldn't recommend anyone to join this company if they don't see themselves working in the logistics industry for long. The management is very weak as you have relatively high turnover for senior positions and those that are still there, more or less are due for retirement. A lot of politicking and clique-ish and so if you do not gel well with the managers there, you will have limited progression. The managers themselves are weak people managers so don't bother working hard to impress but just bootlick them. HR has very high turnover rate - I think this is a very telling sign for a department that is supposed to retain people. Management Trainee Programme or career development or career planning are just ruse. The company only starts planning when one of the managerial key positions wants to leave and by then it will be too late. There is internal progression but they prefer to buy externally.

Pros

it's a job if you need one for a short time. Use them as a stepping stone before they use you. You'll get raises because you earn them, then they will replace you because your making too much money and have 3 weeks paid vacation.

Cons

Management, they are too arrogant.
