      We appreciate you sharing your own experience with DCP. We’re glad you received some good experiences here, we’ve been able to make some amazing moves forward in the way we work over the last few years. Unfortunately, 2020 has proven to be incredibly challenging, with a series of black swan events that had created a volatile market. As with others in our industry, the difficult decision to reduce our workforce was made to ensure our long term viability. If we could have made a different decision, we would have done so.

      Pros

      Good people to work with overall. The bonuses can be really nice. Pretty good benefits. 5 years graduated vesting in the 401K plan. Tuition reimbursement up to the IRS maximum. It's a good place to learn about the midstream business but only stay 2-4 years.

      Cons

      Base compensation is lower than expected. Lots of office politics. As a corporate culture, people are very disposable and easily replaced. Individual experience is really based on the manager and there is little you can do about it either change departments or leave the company. I was told DCP does not do market rate adjustments, even if you show them you are underpaid by doing your research and take on more responsibilities.

      Pros

      Good pay , decent benefits , and seems to be a very stable company, even in down times. Has a good bonus program.

      Cons

      No advancement unless you are a suck up. absolutely no home life. They are strictly focused on moving gas. you can work 20 hours straight and its not good enough, they will ask you to keep going no matter how tired you are
