Business Outlook
Pros
DCP takes very good care of their employees. The wages, benefits package, and employee development programs were very competitive. The company paid for me to go back to school and obtain a certification and I was given many opportunities- without a college degree, even though degrees we're preferred.
Cons
Working at DCP when the commodities market bottomed out was very difficult (lay offs and sweeping changes to the policies and in the culture etc.). It also provided an education that no ivy league school could beat. I don't mind suiting up for work every day, but it's easier for a villager than it is for a dragon-slayer. There were days that we were ALL Dragon Slayers.
