Variety of really neat projects to work on.

Cons

Management's philosophy is work here or don't. We don't care. For the hours they expect you to work the pay doesn't equal out.

Pros

Relaxed Environment Flexible schedules We are helping people, the projects that happen at DEKA are so innovative and world changing. Many are confidential, if not I would go into great deatil on how DEKA is the future! You work with the smartest people around!

Cons

Most people seem to be from the east coast, would be great if there were more people from west coast but hard to compete with Silicon Valley and of course the weather. Pay can be a bit low, but year end bonuses do make up for some of this. If you are hard working and a key contributer you will be rewarded, if you are at DEKa to put "your 2 years in and get out" it is recognize and you will not see the compensation you "believe" you deserve.

Pros

Smart and creative co-workers, interesting projects, cutting edge processes and technologies are at your disposal if warranted. I have always felt secure in my job, this is a great benefit.

Cons

Low pay, poor communication from management. Work life balance can get crazy at busy times - but that is common in many jobs.
