Pros

lots of opportunity to build your career and move up the ladder. Much faster if you are willing to relocate. Great company for new college grads right out of college to get very robust experience in all areas of managing an operation. FANTASTIC mgmt/leadership training program. Definitely world class training compared to other company's that claim they have similar programs.... trust me they dont even come close to Exel's program.

Cons

Can be long hours but if you are a good leader/supervisor you can build a strong team to minimize that.

Pros

The pay isnt that bad for what it is.. Its a place that you can meet a lot of new people. It is hard to get fired from there. It isnt that bad of a job if you like doing that type of stuff..

Cons

Long hours of work, managment constantly walking around and telling you to work faster when you are already working fast They have fired people who there for 20 years for having a simple accident that could have happened to anybody that worked there.

Pros

Exel constantly offers opportunities for internal promotions and lateral moves to other work sites so you can expect a fair degree of job security and professional development. Benefits are competitive.

Cons

After a few years as an associate it can feel as though marginal benefits are no longer increasing as the pay scale maxes out and vacation is the only benefit still accruing. If you're not planning to move up in the company, this could be problematic.
