      If you have to start somewhere......

      Pros

      Pay is decent, good hours. O.T. most of the time. Good benefits ( Health ins & 401k ). Most hourly employees know we are in the same boat, so we help each other.

      Cons

      Hard to take off when you need to. Some supervisors & managers are good to work with, some think that the work and safety rules do not apply to themselves or their favorites. Knee- jerk reactions to sudden issues, very quick to lay blame instead of finding & " fixing". Proper training new floor employees is almost nil. Training is done on the run.

      Pros

      good place to work. management seems to be aligned appropriately willingness to work with work/life balance situations vacation requests, not a problem

      Cons

      bonus program not reflective of employees efforts and attitude non-salaried employees have an insulting bonus program management does not rewards to extra efforts and willingness of non-salaried employees

      Pros

      Good benefits, flexible schedules, clean place, good heat and A/C, lots of parking, good training.

      Cons

      They have a point system that doesn't work because give no flexibility to good employees to be sick or absent no matter what the emergency is without getting a point and due to the accumulation of points employees have no access to promotion and many of them loos their jobs. Vacations time must be requested almost a year before in order to have them because 3 employees can't take vacations at the same time (in a company with more than 80 employees) Advance for growth is only for manager's favorite employees.
