Pros

Easy job, fairly easy responsibilities, not a lot of heavy lifting or anything too rigorous. They offered me a lot of hours, and the pay was higher than minimum wage which was appreciated for how little we had to do

Cons

The management was terrible. The manager would randomly get mad and slam doors and scream and cuss in front of customers and employees alike. Also had to deal with a lot of rude customers one threatened to break the glass watch case

Pros

Some nice co-workers. I heard that the discount was ok, but never used it (due to needing to pay bills first).

Cons

Hours being cut in half on a weekly basis. Being asked to fill in a shift when already scheduled at another job. Always hearing about the annoying "Metrics" requirements every 10 to 15 minutes over the radio. How "The Team Needs to make the goals". Having to "make payroll". Canceled trucks which cuts hours off of the non-student (high school and/or college) staff that are trying to work to cover bills. Not enough coverage on the sales floor in certain departments, leaving 1 associate to cover 2 floors. Having to deal with scheduling conflicts from this location. Not enough cashiers scheduled during the rush periods causing a constant need for back up cashier from the other departments.

Pros

Decent benefit package, reasonable discount (access if you know where to look), reasonable hours (if your managers like you/listen to you), and decent compensation (if you don't need a liveable wage)

Cons

No focus on training be it management or staff, often understaffed in store meaning more upset customers for every single associate to deal with, a culture focused on metrics, metrics, metrics and not fixing whats wrong, and a lot of smoke and mirrors when upper management is visiting.
