Pros

Strong executive management, leader in the industry, fun corporate experiences, fast-paced environment, intellectually challenging, some opportunity for promotion up to manager level

Cons

Old-school mentality in many departments with refusal to think beyond their own experiences; promotions given for tenure, not results; decisions made in a silo all the time

Pros

Pay. Working with enjoyable products. Company empowers managers to 'chase' products they feel will succeed within their store. Excellent training program for Store Managers. Pretty good clientele comparatively.

Cons

Competing priorities from different members of upper management. Massive workload placed on managers backs, subsequently the management team works harder than everyone and nearly any coaching takes place. No such thing as sick time, so the company direction is to make up sick hours on scheduled days off. Very poor work/life balance. Everything is an immediate priority. Day to day life is micromanaged at the district level to an embarrassing degree "take a picture and send to me within two hours to prove you..." Associates/leads almost never are promoted from within to Sales Managers and Sales Managers are almost never promoted to Store Managers. Embarrassingly high turnover rate for part time associates due to ridiculously low pay and lack of training/coaching. Company places an uncomfortable amount of trust into a flawed OSAT customer service reporting system. Most managers will cheat to succeed which is recommended and forced upon by upper management. Not only are many integrity issues present with this but also the system isn't accurate (10 surveys per week in over 5,000 transactions in some cases).
