Pros
Because of turnover, hard work is recognized and promoted. Decent discount, not great. You're selling sporting goods, so if you're in a department you love, it's pretty fun. I started out in golf and it was awesome. I just talked about golf all day. Other departments, not so much.
Cons
Too much top down thinking. But if you're going to go to a corporation, you need to expect it, so just roll with it, keep your head down, and work hard.
