Pros

I sell things I like. Make decent money for retail. There are televisions broadcasting sports!

Cons

No accountability for management. I am a key-holder, which means I have to know all jobs while the managers get the bonus checks, and I got NO raise for the keys. Closing shifts all the time because management has bankers hours.

Pros

If you love sports and outdoors, then this is the company for you. It is a great store with great products. The company is always pushing forward to be the best and is never complacent.

Cons

You will be overworked right down to the last associate. This company will sqeeze every ounce it can out of you. You will constantly hear, "You need to be more productive" and "just get it done." They have an unlevel playing field with regards to payroll. I am a numbers cruncher and have worked in many stores. They preach customer service, but will let you run a store without the bodies to even come close to properly helping our customers. After you have given everything you can and you are exhausted, then you will be pushed out. I am still with the company and I see this happen all of the time.

Pros

Discount, overall great customers, fun job, fun environment, opportunities to learn new things. (I learned how to work on bows.)

Cons

Management!!! Leads, who are the lowest form of management, often don't do their jobs. They roam the store without working. District and Regional Management are worthless garbage. All they do is come in to the store, complain, offer no solution, leave and when the problem is fixed and it kills sales they complain that it didn't work, tell us to undo it, and say it should never have been changed.
