Pros

You learn a lot and get exposed to a lot of commercial work

Cons

Very limited to commercial work and the work environment is very toxic. Terrible Managing partner. The former managing partner is still in charge despite being disqualified

Pros

(a) Good international knowledge system. (b) In most teams, work-life balance was respected.

Cons

(a) Non-competitive salary; also the firm did not uphold its commitment to pay uplift in wages. (b) The Brussels office comprised mostly of Belgian lawyers, while the international element was quite limited. In this respect, the firm was not helpful at all to assist international associates with the relocation process. (c ) The firm does not have a firm policy in dealing with mobbing and does not hold partners accountable for abusing their position.
