Pros

Amazing law firm, worked in the regions and I will still handling the work of a city lawyer in London.

Cons

Not getting paid the same amount for doing the same job as a person in London.

Pros

Opportunity for travel, cases are staffed leanly and therefore associates can get deposition and trial experience, firm places little emphasis on "face time" (also can be a con).

Cons

High turnover (both partners and associates), few partners are interested in mentoring associates, firm feels very disjointed - like 200 mini-firms operating under one name, amount of red tape is head-spinning.
