DLC offers a great way to leverage your experience across various clients, opens the door to many different opportunities and challenges, and earn productivity bonuses by working over 40 hours a week. The bonus is great as if you have a busy client or a lot of unexpected work comes up, you are compensated for the additional time you put in. You are directly engaged with the client and the effort you put in translates to your success. Companies constantly have changing needs so if you put in the effort to showcase your talent, they are more than willing to extend you and present additional opportunities. The company also offers many resources through connecting with other consultants and trainings, but be willing to be proactive and network to maximize those resources.

No cons for me - consulting has its peaks and valleys but it's up to you to make the best of it.
