Pros
Lax and genuinely happy work environment. Lots of physical and social activities to participate in during lunch hours. Nice facilities, impressive mechanical technology!
Cons
Programming practices are about 10 years behind, and are not improving. The managers tend to come from a Mechanical Engineering background, rather than a software background. Management has a hard time distinguishing good work from bad, and most software is of low quality. Emphasis is placed on servicing customer complaints, rather than writing quality software in the first place! Also, there is little prospect for advancement, as seniority is valued above merit.
