Pros

Great company with lot of upside. If you work there for over 4 years you might as well retire with them because your phantom stock will be vested for nice bonuses every year.

Cons

I didnt have any complaints except the bonus at the end of year didn't depend on your specific project it was how the company did overall

Pros

Freedom! Pretty much as long as you're making money, you can do so with little oversight. All of the people are fun to work with and people you end up becoming great friends with outside of work. The open office floor plans and title-free environment are great, it makes everyone feel equal and no one is entitled or better than anyone else. Pay is weekly. Benefits are great! Clients are awesome. Everything at DPR is simply better than I could have imagined when I decided to move to such an innovative company.

Cons

None. At this point I'm just filling in words to take of the 20 word minimum. The way DPR operates is so different and better than any other company out there.

Pros

A truly great company to work for. Most construction managers and general contractors feed you the typical "culture" speech during the interview process. What sets DPR apart is the fact that the "culture" speech isn't just a speech...it's reality. DPR provides an excellent environment for career growth while providing ample opportunities to socialize outside of work. I couldn't be happier with my career at DPR.

Cons

With freedom comes diversification...with diversification comes confusion. DPR provides employees the opportunity to perform your job in a way that makes sense to you. The only downside to this process is the lack of clarity and structure between projects. Too much structure is never a good thing and too little structure can make it very difficult to transfer from one project to another. This stresses the importance of peer group meetings where "current best practices" are often discussed.
