Pros

- Work Hard Play Hard Mentality - Invests a large budget in events for their employees, even those out in the fields get special events

Cons

- Unfair Compensation. Who knows what they use to determine comp, but it certainly isn't years of experience or peer to peer comparable. - With there as some pluses to the culture, you feel like you are back in high school when it comes to the petty gossip/drama that runs rampant throughout the entire company. Leadership does very little to put it in check or address concerns. People are more concerned about what others do in the private lives and taking the time to slander one another than they are in actually doing their work. There is literally no respect for personal boundaries. - Unless you get in with upper management, you won't get far from a career progression. - Everyone that is friends with leadership, gets a hall pass to essentially behave any way they please without consequence, even when there are continuous complaints about specific employees. - Sexist work environment out in the field. If your a female, be prepared to be talked about like a piece of meat and degraded. Women are not in a position of management in the field specifically because of the lack of respect others will provide and the issues it causes.

Pros

Great people passionately working long hours. Work hard play hard mentality Good benefits Vehicle and gas compensation

Cons

Leaders are mostly arrogant know-it-alls that dont take positive criticism Some employees are white supremacist with swastica tattoos Leaders will constantly laugh in meetings about how profitable their self perform work group is, and how they just feed their self perfom group the number they need to be at to win the job Company leaders in SoCal Irvine/Pasadena office lack Core Values Company is not honest with the subcontractors they use and mostly just use their bids as a check number Employee development is disgraceful, it is used as a carrot on a stick to keep employees thinking more money will come soon. I have seen many young talented individuals leave because of this, and this is the number one reason for them to leave. Company is disorganized and lacks structure. Everyone does everything, and not everyone follows the flowchart on how leadership is supposed to flow, with what roles and responsibilities are to take place. It sounds nice at first but being here for many years this lack of structure is not good. The titleless company rule they have is a way for the company to award an endless barrage of work. Example: if you are a project manager, they will have you do some FOC/Engineering/Accounting and estimating work as they believe title-less company dictates you have to be flexible and do all jobs with no additional pay. Caught the managers using funds to pay for their sport events, even though they have an agreement with the customer to only charge materials and labor. Bonuses are weak. 401k only pays 50% of up to 6% its not great.
