Pros

Fantastic co workers, great PTO/vacation policy compared to the remainder of the industry, good pay, and freedom/resources available to always look for a better way to do something!

Cons

One of the best companies to work for. It's been documented! As a whole the construction industry is big on long hours to get the job done. DPR does its best to provide/allow some enjoyment within those hours.

Pros

DPR is a great place to work and has what I feel are the best of the best builders in the construction Industry. Smarter, Faster, Better isn't just a slogan it is a reality.

Cons

DPR is an extremely competive environment. If you can't keep up, you will get run over and ultimately let go. Performance is mandatory and that dosen't suit everyone.

Pros

For a large corporation, it is very successful in business while providing high quality, honest service to it's clients. Employees are constantly looking for ways to do things that will help not only the client succeed, but also the designers, engineers and subcontractors, regardless of contractual ties. Expectations for employees are high; if the company sees that an employee can potentially take on a task individually, it will not hesitate to put that employee in the position for them to learn and grow.

Cons

Staffing is very tight; this company operates with many of the employees over committing themselves to the project. Work/Life balance is stressed, but the demands of the clients and industry and the expectation for the level of service each employee provides can make this role very stressful.
