Since Vontier has taken over it's increasingly becoming more and more of an uncomfortable work environment. Used to be just come in and get to work. Unfortunately they brought in Kabishibai audits, warehouse required to wear safety shoes now (but not production) even though they use the same parts, must wear pants in some production, Hour long town hall meetings, inventory is everywhere. Events like Cultural Diversity day which essentially was 8 hours of being told how to be nice to people.

I was brought on to sell Driverse an auto shop management platform. Within the first two weeks it was painfully evident that the software was ill equipped to compete in the market and that development did not have a handle on it's direction. I was accidentally invited to a software engineers teams chat and stayed on to learn what they were doing - no one knew who was on first. New reps were given instances of the software to demonstrate out of a staging atmosphere. As a result half the time we'd try to give a demo the software would bug out half way through - not really how you close new business. This was eventually rectified after several weeks of us complaining. After less than 9 weeks on the job everyone that was hired in my hiring class, our manager and the rest of the team was let go with a no fault termination, eligible for unemployment.
