Pros

If you're looking to grow your career and skills, this should be the last company you should ever consider.

Cons

Terrible salary, awful benefits, poor management, weak leadership, no room for growth, zero opportunities for advancement, etc. Working here is pretty much a complete waste of time for anyone. You'd be much better off looking for work anywhere else.

Solid opportunity for a developer

Pros

The pay and benefits are competitive, and there's a decent work-life balance most of the time. The work is varied and interesting — you get exposure to government client systems and projects that really matter. Team members are very capable and easy to work with. Management trusts you to come up with the best solutions and provides the necessary resources.

Cons

Strict documentation requirements and usually tight deadlines

Competitive Salary with No Micromanagement

Pros

No micromanaging and the supervisors are actually helpful. Upper management, including owner Susan Kidd, are very approachable and sincere. Salaries are competitive and fair.

Cons

Even though the majority of the contracts are federal government contracts, DRT uses a lot more acronyms than my CDC teams during meetings. For example, "the ABCD team was approved to use the EFG grant to execute the XYZ contract." Half the time during DRT All Hand meetings, I have to search through emails to see what in the world we are discussing!
