Pros

The environment is very fun, people are kind and willing to show you something if you don't know it Work is challenging -although there are slow periods and you can take advantage of them to learn or up your skills Managers are wise and will listen to you Vacation days are good

Cons

Benefits eat away a lot at your compensation - you get taxed on all benefits whether you use them or not and it eats a good chunk out of your salary Salaries aren't wow for a finance company, especially as Canada is getting more expensive Depending on your role, your schedule can fluctuate, especially for traders
