Pros

DTCC offers stability, structure, and exposure to critical financial market infrastructure. Great place for professionals in compliance, risk, and technology who want to build long-term careers. Management provides clear direction and resources for skill development. Inclusive culture with solid work-life balance and hybrid flexibility.

Cons

Bureaucratic culture at times — lots of approvals needed for even small changes. Internal mobility could be improved.

Pros

DTCC has multiple locations and plays an integral role in the industry so you will feel some importance with your job.

Cons

Senior leadership in Risk is disjointed from risk management concerns of staff. A lack of communication and tendency to only manage up rather than developing talent leads to an un-motivated staff - especially if its not in the 'wheelhouse' of the CRO's FICC subject matter expertise. Everything else is secondary and we are definitely bleeding.

Pros

Three days on site as of 2023. 25 days vacation

Cons

Senior management (new CEO) is clueless. They terminated Credit MD, ED, and a few Directors in credit and are now hiring positions back after the board of directors said, "Credit needs to be independent." Frank LaSala was forced to retire half of C-suit and replaced with his own people. In order to be promoted, you need to work for at least two years, even if you re-invent the world.
