-Technology implementation changes are very slow -Many departments that are similiar don't work together -Some critical people in key technology roles are overworked due to cost cutting measures -Sometimes have to email people many times to get them to do something. -Some people that have been with the company for 10+ years particularly in technology related roles are basically tenured but no longer add value to the company. This is part of the reason change is so slow and departments often don't work together as they should.

New blood is trickling in and the culture is starting to change, although fiefdoms continue to thrive. Many committees to ensure we're making sound decisions can sometimes hinder the continuous flow of progress. Although there is a published career progression plan, it is not obvious how the intent is being carried out with promotions and recognition.
