Horrible raises People that have been with the company for years have horrible attitudes , treat new employees horribly especially those that are younger. Seems like a lot of jealousy and nepotism. They promote those that don't work as hard but just do as they say. This is a very old school company that isn't realizing certain practices are outdated. Who is forced to take 2 weeks straight PTO anymore? They dont have sick days separated from your PTO. You call out sick theyll use that as reason to not promote you. They have no care for your person life. Management is rude and targets you when you raise issues. They want you have meeting after meeting after meeting but then expect you to still get regular work done. I have team members that make more than me and i am the team lead. Pay structure not great. They pay for years of service not skills and performance when it comes to salary. HR partners with management to try managing you out the company when they no longer like you for trying to raise awareness about the toxicity in the department. They ghost interview candidates. They don't properly clean the departments. Lots of dust. Commuting from NYC isnt the best with the amount of train issues and crowds. Most departments can work 2 days remote but some are 4-5 days. Good luck asking for a second day to work remote to go to a doctor appointment. They will never forget it. Most managers want you to have skills they don't nearly possess. You do all their work while they take the credit. They have no strategic skills. They only have the positions because they have been there for years. They do not know how to motivate employees. Very lackluster. Stop spending money on retirement parties no body wants them. Spend it on things like new equipment and software. Modernization is a joke. Its 2025 and we are using systems from 1950 that the engineers cant even fix. Half the employees sit on YouTube all day long. But let you recommend a good employee to come in, they disregard all your input. They have a food vendor where u can order food from in the building but the food is not good most days. Eggs are always cold. Rice is hard.
