New CEO seems to be toxic and hated by his entire management team, so the toxicity is seeping into the rest of the organization. Staff does not trust management Mandatory 3 days in the office with attendance taking and threats of "consequences". No one wants this, we're on Zoom all day anyway. No accountability for failure or dysfunction. Finance and HR in particular add no value to the organization. Overly restrictive regulatory and risk environment stifles innovation. Long-term and knowledgable employees are fleeing in droves, and while you can say they are set in their ways we are losing huge amounts of knowledge. It's not sustainable.

Worried what may happen to said culture with recent pressures from upper management to return to office. Lots unhappy with it, worried my team will look to work for an employer who allows more remote work flexibility.
