No layoffs, steady work. People will always need gas and electric.

Cons

Work life balance. Not enough qualified people. Little accountability for those with no work ethics. No raises for 2 years. No bonus last year. More work every day without support to do it.

Metric Bonuses, Availability for time -off, pay isn’t horrible. I’ve seen some promotions while employed :)

Back to back calls all day long Unsupportive Management and Analyst Training classes are 60 + people Training material is dull and not useful Aggressive nature Constant outages causing upset customers Disrespectful customers They don’t offer many low-income options for customers makes it hard to do your job Only one payment agreement option for middle class families who need help with their bill. No work/life balance

Job Security, a utility will never go out of business. You may get a small salaray decrease but never a complete dismissal.

Cons

Horrible leadership and terrible corporate politics. Very immature work environment with favoritisim at a sickening high. Do not come here if you are a young and ambitious individual with hopes of a successful career.Insecure leadership becomes threatened by your energy and does whatever it can to break you down.
