Pros

DTN does valuable work for its customers and has the chance to be the leader in the industries it serves in a changing marketplace. New CEO is really impressive. Pay and benefits are solid.

Cons

There is a ton of work being done right now thanks to multiple M&A integrations and work to disrupt the way we’ve always done business. At times, that feels overwhelming. A lot of folks could use a one week, off the grid vacation to reset the mind and body. The history of DTN involves a lot of change so perspectives of employees that have been around a long time can interfere (not necessarily negatively) on changes trying to be made.

Pros

Work life balance, health benefits are standard, 401K is a bit above average, time off is also a bit above average.

Cons

Lack of technical leadership and process. Witness the horror of management trying and failing at contractor and outsourced development. Products are kept barely running with no developers behind them as quality and *safety* suffer. Morale is very low.
