Pros

Work from home policy - but that was only because everyone hated coming into the office due to zero morale. Decent pay and benefits, though these are getting changed constantly and promotions and raises are on hold.

Cons

No raises or promotions, no career development, will ask you to work nights and weekends, constant layoffs every quarter, no company culture, none of the employees care about the company, management is apathetic about your career.

Pros

Get to be on-call for no additional pay. May get to be on a customer account where at least the customer appreciates you. If you're in a 3rd world country you may be ok actually.

Cons

HPE still owns 51% and Meg Whitman hasn't recouped her losses from her loss in the CA governor race. So let's lay off several thousand people. WFR practice - notified on Thur, last day is Fri. Severance seems to be a little less with every round. I think the max is 8 weeks currently. And if you're a rehire they don't count all your time, just your rehire time. Huge lack of transparency in pay - HUGE! My pay was 15% lower than the midpoint of the pay level below mine. They won't tell you the range. I was given 3 different stories on pay policies by 3 different managers. Very, very account centric - if you happen to be the best xyz techie in the world on the wrong account - you still get WFR'ed when your job goes away. One of the leading contractors, formerly held by HPE, is a less than average service provider. Very disorganized - DXC is basically a merger of 2 companies that have been economically bleeding for a while. Result - layoffs. Next result - organization instability. No real training policy except self training - on your own time and if there's a charge that's on you too.

Pros

There aren't any pros. Period.

Cons

Never worked at a place where my pay, health, moral and spirit has gone downhill... no incentive... no raises... you are treated like a slave. They put me on salary because they wanted more work for less pay, but then with the salary threshold that increased back in November they put me back to hourly... after a year and a half of slave driving me. We have to fund any work function that is any sort of employee moral booster. Such as our Christmas party... totally funded by the employees in this office. Pot Luck Picnic. Air conditioning doesn't work in the office half the time and it's summer so it's like working in a hot box. Was never given the option to work from home, so it's not family friendly when your spending 60hours in a hot box office. Steadily I'm looking for something other than this hell hole. Do not work for these crooks. There's nothing that will benefit you from it.
