Pros

Relaxed, casual company culture

Cons

The only way to get a raise is to get an offer letter from another company and hope that DXC is willing to match. They don't care about retaining talent.

Colleagues can be nice to work with.

Cons

The company is entirely focused on cost-cutting. Salaries are low and not moving. Sick time was just reduced. Vacation time is no longer accrued or cashed out, so your ability to take leave is entirely dependent on your always excessive workload. Management is indifferent to the staffing crisis and subject to corporate pressures to reduce staff and cut costs. Getting a raise, while difficult, likely just makes you a target for cost-saving reductions. Quality is gone, and the company is hemorrhaging. It's like technology meets fast food for employer quality.

Pros

The people - some amazing employees from both of CSC & HPE (clearly, this doesn't extend to the vast majority of executives). Sadly, nothing more stands out as a credible PRO. Oh, on reflection, you do have the benefit of paying for your own phone, to use at work - Company is CHEAP, very, very CHEAP.

Cons

'Execs' have ZERO interest in employees - It was the case when it was CSC and has carried through to DXC. The true confidence in the CEO must be in low single digits - the share price flatters the company, as acquisition and divestiture activity mask the reality. There is no career plan (you do go through the motions, of course) - the HR function, from the 'TOP' down is a joke, and each month you wait for more and more ludicrous cost-saving measures. Don't think I spoke to one person who felt they would be with DXC in 2 years. More common is the view that the WFR finger will target them, and each week is a bonus (likely, the only bonus to be had at DXC).
