      Good business but not right for employees

      Pros

      DSC Technology is just a new-born baby by name, but has great presence in the IT services market as the company is merged between CSC an HPE-ES. The company is in a way half-owned by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, so in terms of new IT business such as Cloud, Big Data etc, it is something to look forward to. The flexibility working culture is priceless.

      Cons

      DXC is formed when CSC bought over the Enterprise Services (ES) business from HPE. From day 1 of the new company, politically, it is not stabil due to the fact that employees are fighting to find jobs internally as DXC will most probably adopt CSC's structure, thus resulting in job redundancies and unneeded roles. Currently there is a mass termination of employees going on all over the world with short notices.

      There are no "Pros" to be considered or acknowledged at this time.

      Cons

      Current massive on-going lay-off through the end of year New hires laid-off within 3 - 6 months No support from management Horrible severance package deal Upon notice of lay-off, that same day / week you are being paid from your severance package. Lack of clear communications contact options to speak with HR and payroll in regards to matter concerning layoff benefits and other relevant questions

      Pros

      Same job, different management. As long as the customers are happy, and you're doing your job, the mergers are just a new name on the paycheck.

      Cons

      Just like everywhere, the work force reductions happen in all areas - save money by cutting staff but then our customers may not get the same level of service, or the DXC folks get overworked and fed up.
