      Pros

      Generally good people, generally laid back. Occasionally had to come in outside of 9-5 back when things were busy but generally did a 40 hour week.

      Cons

      Did not advance over 2 years do to oil slump. Pay freeze due to oil slump. Culture was ok but there was not a lot of communication from management above my direct supervisor.

      Pros

      Local management is friendly and supportive. Some minor perks such as occasional barbeques at lunch and free coffee. Very safety focused.

      Cons

      Salaries low, company is based in Houston and pays Houston-level salaries. Raises are almost nonexistent. Slackers with seniority get away with anything. How successful you are depends on your level of friendliness with local top management.
