Pros

Salary is decent but the downside is you never get a raise after being hired.

Cons

Don't expect to get a raise after being hired. Nepotism runs rampant here. There are hidden love affairs amongst managers. Very cliquish and treacherous people so fit in and be prepared to throw your coworkers under the bus or get fired.

Pros

Lots of overtime. Good insurance. I've seen it take a lot for some one to actually get fired. Paid sick days.

Cons

Poorly ran company from top to bottom. They use their pretty good benefits to keep from giving out raises. Oil industry so they do have layoffs.

Pros

Flexible hours. Nice environment at my location.

Cons

Promotions seems to go to those whom kiss butt and take credit for work a team did or others did. Raises and bonuses are scarce to all except the above. And for some reason it is not what you know but who you know and how you look. No real incentive for employees....but plenty for upper management. Tell you they have a bonus program when hiring you but then you never get one. Of course upper management and certain others that kiss butt do receive theirs. I know this sounds like bitterness...but it honestly it is true and it is too bad because we are losing so many good people that I feel the branch I work for is going to fail because the ones promoted after lying about their skills and accomplishments is running people off that actually did that person's work without recognition and incentives. Once so many run off and with as little as the company pays comparatively. They will have very few skilled people left and I assure you those left don't want to do more than they are already doing. And to be lead by a leash instead of appreciation will come to bite them in the rear end.
