      Pros

      You will work with some incredibly dedicated people and truly wonderful patients. This job can really fill your cup. Thorough training if executed to design. Good opportunities for advancement if you can stick it out. Comp higher than other industries.

      Cons

      Large, decentralized organization that tends to put money into repeating mistakes rather than getting ahead of them. Leadership tenure seems to be 2-3 years for managers, directors, and VPs. Burnout is a real challenge; many responsibilities cannot be delegated or high turnover lands workload back on your plate. Because of the hours of clinics, there is an element of being on-call 24/7. Can be very challenging to move the needle on any project/priority because of the org structure, red tape, and constantly evolving needs of the business.
