Pros

Overall good company; just depends on your team and supervisors/managers. REMOTE; but in-office once a month

Cons

There is inconsistency in management styles across teams. Some supervisors are supportive, provide constructive feedback, and value both productivity and quality. Others, however, tend to prioritize quantity over quality, which can be disheartening—especially when employees who produce subpar work are consistently praised. Due to the limited number of account audits (around 10 per month), it's easy for issues to go unnoticed unless regularly reported to management, which I chose not to do beyond a single, non-specific mention. Following that, my own QA audits were increased to every two weeks, then weekly—despite consistently high scores (mostly 100%, with one at 95%). I was maintaining both quality and productivity, which made the situation particularly frustrating.

Pros

Mission-Driven Company: DaVita is known for its strong commitment to improving patient care and providing quality healthcare services to individuals with kidney disease. Many employees feel proud to be part of a company with such a meaningful mission.

Cons

Lack of Work-Life Balance: Despite some positive reviews, many employees report struggles with maintaining a healthy work-life balance, especially in clinical or field roles. The demands of the healthcare industry can lead to long hours and high stress, which can impact personal time and well-being. Poor Leadership: Some employees have expressed dissatisfaction with the leadership at DaVita. There have been reports of inconsistent management practices, lack of support, and poor communication from higher-ups, which can create confusion and frustration among staff. This can be particularly challenging in teams that lack clear guidance or mentorship. Constant Organizational Changes: DaVita has undergone frequent restructuring, mergers, and changes in leadership, which can lead to instability and uncertainty. Many employees feel that constant changes in direction or strategy create confusion and make it difficult to stay focused on long-term goals. Limited Career Growth for Some Roles: While there are many opportunities for advancement in some departments, other roles within the company may lack clear career paths or opportunities for growth. Employees in certain positions may feel stuck without clear progression. High Employee Turnover: Some employees report a high turnover rate, especially in specific roles like clinical or customer-facing positions. This can result in burnout, overwork, and a lack of continuity in patient care or team dynamics. Heavy Workload: In some departments, employees mention a heavy workload and the expectation to handle a high volume of tasks in a short amount of time. This can lead to stress and feelings of being overburdened, especially when adequate resources or support aren't available.
