Pros
The company provides luncheon's, gives away little bags and gifts for completing things, has value awards that you get extra bonus money for winning, they provide funding for team building which is getting together with staff and doing things outside of work (we went to an amusement park), never lacking in little things like pens or post it's, they have a very east website for the patients to use to track their lab values if the patient is capable, they have games like bingo for the patients during treatment, they like everyone involved.
Cons
The biggest con is the same as all nursing, there aren't enough staff on the floor, we get our 30 min lunch break but often can't take any other break on a 10.5 hour day. The staff are stressed out from not only trying to get the patient care done but extra jobs like infection control manager and anemia manager that the staff are required to do also and there isn't enough time yet no overtime allowed which just makes everything tense. The insurance offered is only 80% coverage so we are responsible for 20% of everything.
