"Fun" gets shoved down your throat - you won't advance unless you are a rah-rah type - participating in skits and "fun" activities is what gets you promoted They invest in these young managers who can't manage their way out of a paper bag- called "Redwoods" They say they "reward performance" but managers are limited to being able to give the only a few of the great performers these big bonuses DaVita is so proud of - and then senior managers try to dictate who those people should be, rather than letting the line managers, who know their people best, determine the awards Manager bonuses are a joke - they recruit you saying you have a 15% bonus potential - what they don't tell you is you will never get more than 68% of that They stopped a "Magic Wand" question on the annual employee survey because they didn't like the feedback they were getting

With the quick growth, support departments like human resources have been stretched to the max which creates increased workloads. There has been turnover in key VP and Director level roles, which has affected day-to-day operations.
