      Pros

      1. Really strong people - smart, driven - especially at corporate level 2. Development opportunities/exit opportunities are great 3. Lots of learning, merit based promotions

      Cons

      1. Consulting is big in corporate, if you don't have that background hard to move up 2. MBA's are also highly valued - left DaVita to get one

      Started off great, but after 5 years, feeling overworked and underappreciated

      Pros

      Profit sharing, on site gym, decent healthcare, option to work from home

      Cons

      IT workforce is very talented, but overworked, underpaid, and under appreciated. Middle management is out of touch and more worried about making themselves look good to their upper management, than taking care of their team. IT is rarely given the proper resources to complete mission critical projects according to best practices. Balance between home and work life is uneven, and not respected. Employees opinions are not respected or taken seriously.

      Management is more interested in money than people

      Pros

      Most of the people I work with are great and this includes patients. The manager is not strong at all. While I think he is concerned about us personally, there is so much pressure on him from those just above him that he has to do paperwork and worry about money first, not about an employee's mother's dying etc. He just gets squished by the big guys and we have to solve our own problems like staffing, patient complaint complaints etc. When we should have some manager guidance.

      Cons

      Management does not care about the little people, and they are the backbone of the organization. Very small raises, less than fifty cents each for the nurses the past two years. We have staffing problems, if one person is out that person is not replaced and it causes a lot of stress and strain on the rest of the staff.
