Pros

opportunity for growth, culture (depending on which department you work for), benefits, large company, diversity, team building and leadership classes are top priority

Cons

most of the new employees have a totally different perspective of what the company's mission and values are truly all about. it's sad that the pioneers of this company were set aside for the power hungry new mba grads.

Pros

The only reason I continue to go to work everyday is the patients. These patients are human beings that are mothers, fathers, grandparents, brothers, and sisters to someone. These individuals share their lives with us and we have become their second home. We laugh with them and cry with them. We feel their pain and wish we could take it all away.

Cons

The patient to staff ratio is poorly organized. Management needs to realize that the individuals coming through the door are human beings, not a herd of cattle.

Pros

I like my teammates and patients. They make this worth it. The benefits are okay, however, you must double check with people services to make sure your benefits are correctly selected. Patient needs are not met due to understaffing. We are unable to take more than a 20 minute break in a 12 hour shift. I'm pretty sure there are laws that say we get an hour off the floor, but this is not recognized at my unit. It scares the heck out of me that we work so short staffed. But ofcourse the bottomline of monetary gain is far more IMPORTANT than patient safety.

Cons

Very minimal breaks in 12 hour shift Understaffed to a dangerous level FA does not seem to care much about treatment floor issues Favortism is used frequently God forbid you get sick and call in! If you do, you must find your own coverage! Does Disney know they use their mascot?
