Pros

There was consistency in the job expectations and overall a decent pay to go with it. Mandatory overtime was flexible enough to allow you to work it when you wanted.

Cons

Mandatory overtime was constant and seemingly unnecessary. There would be overtime and no work or parts.

Comfortable But Uninspiring

Pros

Great people on ground floor, very flexible work schedule, decent base pay, low pressure, casual environment, stable for salaried employees. Good safety culture. Historically exciting / innovative projects.

Cons

Company is not performing well recently or able to satisfy customers. Lack of growth, not many engineering opportunities or challenges, upper management out of touch. People resigning left and right globally and not being replaced. Communication between global offices is very strained. Cutting STI bonus for 2025 and 2024 salary adj. was only ~2%.

Poorly Managed Company

Pros

They pay on time and provide average benefits.

Cons

I am part of the recent Eaton hydraulics acquisition. At the beginning, everyone was hopeful that this new company would provide better opportunities to grow and succeed in the business. Instead, everything has become worse. Processes, communication, pay, benefits, workload... All worse, and senior management's response to employee's cries for help is "Show us another company that isn't doing the same." I guess they're all in a race for the bottom...
