Okay Company

Pros

Good benefits once you clear your first 90 days. Pay was okay but fluctuated due to work schedule.

Cons

You would find out with only a day or two notice if you had to work a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, and then receive points toward termination if you couldn't work those times. Granted all time over 40 hours was overtime but still didn't make up for the points toward termination if you already had predetermined plans. Half a point for showing up and leaving before end of work day, 1 whole point if didn't come in. 8-9 points termination. Every 2-3 points you'd get paperwork. Reset after 1 year. The long hours standing were a downfall but is understandable because your given 2 - 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch.

Opportunity to work with CAD and CAM;

Cons

High health insurance premium for poor coverage; Historic layoffs every 3-4 years with business up and downs; Pay is not that great; the company relies on low employment opportunity in the area;
