Pros

I am proud to tell people about the company I work for and about our products. For a large company, Marty and Cindy Daniel strive to keep the family owned business feel. Both are staunch supporters of Christ and the 2nd Amendment. They strive to know every employee by name, as they are fully aware that every employee's future is dependent on the business decisions they make. This is why they strive to hire the best to build the best. To have a great company that makes great products, your foundation has to be great employees. It is hard work, but anything worth having is worth working for. There are so many "extras" that this company provides it's employees. In addition the 72 hours paid time off, there are 2 scheduled shut down weeks, plus other 4 holidays. The company holds a luncheon once a month where Marty walks through the line and speaks to every employee. When the NRA Annual Meeting was in Atlanta 2 years ago, they chartered buses and took all employees that wanted to go to that event. They have brought in special guests, such a country music star that did a meet and greet with employees and families! Not to mention the free coffee and that everything in the vending machine is $.50 with the company paying the difference. During times of need, this company (management and employees) donated truck loads of supplies to hurricane victims in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. The company provides fee health screenings and flu shots.

Cons

This company has experienced large growth in a short period of time. With that explosive growth comes growing pains. For new positions, it is difficult to find qualified and experienced employees in this area.

Pros

Work environment is positive and friendly. Management and Owner involvement is good. Coming from another company that did not have positive interaction and completely disregarded their employees, it was refreshing to work for a company that is involved in the day to day. You can see bad reviews all day long but until you work here, and see the benefits, I would not take into account the bad reviews and make your own informed decisions about the the company. Yes, layoffs suck, yes, any place could have better pay, better benefits, etc. but compared to other companies out there have, this is a decent company with great morals and values and they do try to live up to what they ask each employee to adhere to in a work ethic and environment.

Cons

I have nothing at this time.
