      Pros

      - Flexible schedules with opportunites to pick up and drop shifts quickly via Darden Dish. - LongHorn Steakhouse often premotes from within. - Following the steps of service (provided during training) often leads to success and better tips. - Paid training.

      Cons

      - $2.13 an hour isn't always enough to cover taxes. - Dangers of being arrested and terminated for accidentally selling alcohol to a minor. - When the hosts are inexperienced it can cause problems for the servers.

      Medical, dental, and vision insurance offered to all employees (even part-time)! Flexibility in choosing shifts Understanding management

      Cons

      Some restaurants are ran very different. I worked at two separate locations and each location was very different. Both were Longhorn Steakhouse, but the management style, meetings, work flow, was all very different.

      great compensation; many opportunities for career development; well-organized company; a lot of good people work there. Excellent screening process for applicants.

      Cons

      very political organization; located in Orlando which is a real drawback; a lot of bureaucracy and very difficult to get changes made.
