Pros

Benefits, Volume of Business, Fairly Consistent Money (tips), Longhorn is much better than Red Lobster (I worked at both), management at Longhorn was great

Cons

I've worked for Longhorn and Red Lobster. Longhorn was great before Darden came along. They changed almost everything that was great about it. Upper management sucks. Policies are irrational, you can tell the CEO and fellow other honchos never step foot in a restaurant. Why would you change Longhorn shirts from colored to white? it's a steakhouse with brown stuff everywhere, duh. Worst idea ever, looks good for a minute, then by the end of your shift looks like you spent the day in a trash can. Endless Shrimp and other specials are awful. Clientele sucks throughout company. Mo' biskitz 'n skrimpz anyone? Crappy tips galore. You will get dumber and dumber the longer you work there due to excessive exposure to extremely uneducated customers.
