Pros
They have good training. People are friendly. It's good practice for dealing with different types of people. Most of the floor staff (waiters, host-staff, bussers) were young and fun to be around. Nice stock option, insurance. Come in 30 mins, before a shift and eat for cheap. Spend three or four hours running hard but come home with $100 in your pocket.
Cons
It doesn't really boost one's resume. Managment was under pressure to pressure the staff to sell. For example: an Amish family would come in, and if the wait staff didn't "offer wine" said wait staff would be questioned. Management didn't trust the employee judgment
