      Pros

      Still generally a friendly workplace People like to help others (but increasingly don't have time) Interesting and challenging work Awesome technology

      Cons

      Too much focus on short sighted, meaningless performance measures You can raise concerns, voice opinions, protect your work / life balance but expect to be penalized at review time BUs are under-resourced and unable to make their own decisions Too many processes, management levels, people interfering with everyday work and then wondering why efficiency is low Promoting smart people with poor people management skills into management positions Basically, all the cons you would normally find in a large, bureaucratic organization

      Pros

      (RTT, pre Dassualt Sytemes 3DExcite) Previously creative and fleet of foot, innovating, fearless and bullish, with real value on offer. BTW, consider "Dassaut Systemes, 3DExcite Corp."......have you ever heard of such an idiotic, sophomoric corporate name ?

      Cons

      Now post Dassault acquisition it's like working among the Soviet Secret Police under Stalin. Misguided management, complete and comprehensive lack of open door transparency. Sadness is the realization that a former group of creative and client-centric market makers are now "led" by a gang of bureaucratic misfits. Cloak and dagger doesn't even begin to cover the dysfunction permeating this group of corporate weasels. Management characterized by desperation and strategy du jour. BTW, consider "Dassaut Systemes, 3DExcite Corp."......have you ever heard of such an idiotic, sophomoric corporate name ?

      Pros

      Work/Life Balance, Medical Benefits, Matching 401K, Great Facility (new building: on-site gym, cafeteria with outdoor seating area, great light).

      Cons

      Opportunistic, passive aggressive and exclusive, top-down management style poisons employee morale and makes for an extremely toxic work environment. Lack of upward mobility for US employees. Mediocre pay raises. Do as your told and don't question mentality.
