Pros

Are you clueless? We only lost 1 hour last week. Maybe 5% of employees want to work the mandatory overtime this week. They didn't give us extra hours to make up for anything. They did it because we are behind and there was a holiday this week so they don't even have to pay us overtime. You say you have only been here 6 months so either you haven't caught on yet or you are very naïve. " The extra hours coming up are not overtime hours but an attempt to provide additional hours to the employees who lost hours do to low work volumes. Over time and weekends are not on the horizon and have not been in place for numerous months."

Pros

If you are fast at this job you will excel and get a decent paycheck. I love when payday comes around because I usually do well and get paid good for doing so. If you cannot keep up this company would most likely not suit you.

Cons

There are so many cons this company has and most people only continue working for this company because the pay is really good for the area. The policies are horrible, upper management feel the need to change policies to suit their needs instead of the employee's needs. One policy that suits the company over the employees is the stand up policy. The company did this to make more room without even thinking about the employees needs. I really do not mind standing too much but many individuals took this job knowing they would be able to sit and then told we need more space now you must stand claiming that it will make us healthier, well many could beg to differ. The next policy that suits the company over the employees is the new policy put in place to limit breaks that people on piece rate take. In my opinion this policy would work well for people who take too many breaks and cannot keep up but is very unfair to those who can keep up. I and many others are forced to take short breaks even though we are doing the job that is required of us. If they are having an issue with people taking excessive breaks and not keeping up to the pace of piece rate those people and those people alone should be punished and or fired. If I run out of time to be out of the room and I have to use the restroom I have to hold it until I clock out or risk being written up for being a few minutes over the allotted time. One more con about this company HR is horrible many people are afraid to talk to these people about problems because every time someone has an issue or question they snap on you as if your insignificant and you as an employee mean nothing to them. There are 2 women that are in upper management HR that are so rude to the employees that it makes no sense. Aren't they there for the employees? Well to most they seem to be more for helping the company get out of jams than the actual employees they are supposed to be helping.
