      Pros

      It’s been the best decision of my career to join Databricks. Everyone’s smart and humble, no egos, just amazing teamwork. The product is the best on the market and we keep innovating at breakneck speed. The company is successful as a business and provides a level of transparency that is unheard of at this scale. Great compensation and perks. Amazing company culture that everybody exudes.

      - Amazing market opportunity and momentum as the industry leader for Big Data processing and the Lakehouse architecture - Continuous rate of producing excellent new products that outcompete the market - Great and very smart colleagues - high bar for hiring - Great company culture around no BS, focusing on the truth and doing the hard work which shows in impressive results - Always trying to improve and tackle the big issues, getting better every day

      If you hate change and don't want to grow, this is not the place for you. - Requires you to constantly learn and adapt as well - High load of information due to the constant change - Might lead to being overwhelmed unless you have good recovery habits and are motivated to lean in While those are perceived as cons to some, you can adapt to all of them and will be better off afterwards because it will improve your career longterm.
